Production Supervisor/Manager

The Production Supervisor/Manager is responsible for the oversight of the production employees, flow of production and ensuring order are delivered on time, along with setting up, and use of computer numerical control (CNC) machines to make parts.

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor/Manager. All applicants must have current experience running CNC machines as this position will require hands-on machining as well.

Candidates must have a proven track record of successful management of a tooling machine production floor with professionalism and ability to build trust and relationships.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

·         Quoting material lead times.

·         Ordering materials for the production floor.

·         Coverage and scheduling of the production floor.

·         Inventory

·         Forecasting production and sales completion.

·         Ability to operate machines. (Fanuc, Siemens or Haas)

·         Oversee maintenance and assist with repairs/needs.

·         Quality checks and back-up for compliance.

·         Customer service support on new orders, updates, and delivery.

·         Shop cleanliness.

·         Maintenance of machines.

·         Shop-controls and regulations-temperature, oil etc.

·         GD&T certified

·         Understand thermal expansion effects on part size and compensate accordingly to achieve final part geometry requirements.

. Must be able to read, understand and explain blueprints.

Knowledge of shipping, inventory, machine maintenance are preferred.
