Maintenance Assistant

Wallram-LPT in Colorado Springs is looking for a full-time Maintenance Assistant to provide support to our Maintenance Supervisor.  This is a great entry level learning opportunity.

This position will train and then be responsible for the following:

• Providing support to the Supervisor in all phases of Machine shop maintenance, which includes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic pneumatic systems along with fixtures and/or furnishings.

• Assist with projects deemed critical by operations as it relates to infrastructure.

• Maintain accurate record keeping of all machines/ downtime of machines/ parts replaced.

• Build relationships with outside vendors/suppliers – Monitor supplies/parts – spares as needed.

•  Familiarity with basic CNC machine programing is a bonus to have.

• Have the ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

• Understand fluid movement, air handling systems.

• Possess strong math skills.

• Ability to procure repair parts, and schedule outside services when needed.
